The sixth Steering Board Meeting Steering Board of the University of Bihac, under the chairmanship of the President, Prof. Ekrem Pehlic, held its sixth session on Monday, April 27th, 2009. It was attended by Vice-Rector for Teaching, Prof. Zemira Delalic and by the President of Students Union of the University of Bihac, Selvedin Bajric.
The highest management body examined several points of the agenda.

After versatile discussions taking place, the financial report for 2008 of the Students' Union, which is said to be a non-profit organization that is funded from the current grant, was reviewed and adopted. The Government of Una-Sana Canton discusses its Program for expenditure of funds on the proposal of the University of Bihac.
It was stated that the funds of this Union are insufficient and that a model for its reorganization must be taken in consideration in order to increase the funds. Few members of the Steering Board expressed their will to offer their financial help for students.
Information about the allocated apartments from the University Staff Housing Issue Solving Fund, founded in 1998, was required by the relevant Housing Commission within the Government of USC. After that, other issues in this area will be taken in consideration. Besides, a legal interpretation was presented about the Decision, adopted by the Steering Board of the University of Bihac, regarding temporary suspending of publishing activities at the University of Bihac unblocking book issuing process.
It has been recommended that a formal legal resolution of the former Vice-rectors should be conducted in order to avoid any possible doubts.
An urgent answer from the USC Government was required regarding a delay in the approval to the appointment of the rector and regarding possible solution of organizational and financial problems in the work of the University of Bihac.
