The new joint Project of European Commission and Council of Europe entitled "Strengthening Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina III (SHE III)" was presented on 6th April 2009 in the premises of the Faculty of Technical Engineering in Bihac to the representatives of the University of Bihac headed by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Isak Karabegovic.
Ms. Karen Roberts, CoE Project Coordinator, gave the presentation and other attendees participated actively in the discussions, as well.

SHE III is the third Project in a line aiming at providing support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in implementing Higher Education Reforms compatible with the Bologna process. The Project’s duration is planned from 2009 to 2011 and total eligible costs total 500.000 €.
According to a statement of Prof. Karabegovic, University is interested in active participation on this Project.
Beside the Framework Law on Higher Education in BiH, the Council of Europe has adopted a set of seven rules, which represent support for its implementation:

2. Implementation framework for higher education qualifications in B&H
3. Standards and guidelines for Quality Assurance in higher education in B&H
4. Recommendations for implementation of Quality Assurance in Higher education in B&H
5. State action plan for recognition of qualifications in B&H
6. Model Diploma Supplement for B&H
7. Manual for users of the Model Diploma Supplement for Bosnia and Herzegovina
