The Islamic Academy of Education joined the University of Bihac on June 30th, 1997. It is now transformed into the Islamic Faculty of Education. Since then, it develops a very good cooperation with the University of Bihac and its other members.
The first student graduation ceremony was performed on May 17th, 2000. 33 students received their diploma. Reisu-l-ulema, Prof. dr.Mustafa Ceric, vice-rector of the University of Bihac, Prof. Dr. Mujo Demirovic and many other guests from Bihac and other places were present.
The formal opening of the new Academy took place on September 19th, 2000. Many guests and citizens among which the Delegation of Saudi Arabia, Rector of the most prominent Islamic University in Riad, Director of the High Saudi Committee, president of USC, delegate of Reisu-l-uleme, Director of the Office of Diaspora, Director of the Vakuf and others were present.
