Under the chairmanship of Prof. Refik Šahinović, the 6th Senate meeting was held on February 22, 2010.A comprehensive agenda was discussed.

 The Draft Rules of Senate Procedure and the 2.nd Study Cycle Rules were adopted. The approval of the Ordinance of the Faculty of Law was granted, determining the amount of fees and manner of allocation of revenues generated from the postgraduate and doctoral studies, as well as on the Decision of the Faculty of Economics about defining the narrow scientific fields. At the same time a decision was made to call the competition for the selection of teachers and associates at the Faculty of Economics and the College of Nursing Studies. The approval on the choice of one teacher and four assistants at the Faculty of Pedagogy, as well as the Decision on extension of the assistant internship period at this Faculty were granted. Commission to create Regulations on the validation and equivalence of foreign faculty certificates or other public documents on completion of professional or scientific degree in the draft was formed. An initiative of the Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences on the drafting of the Ordinance on the basis of funding of higher education also in a draft was accepted. Finally, approval of the status of the University textbook under the title: "Engineering Fundamentals" of the author dr Ifet Šišić was given.
