SEMINAR HELD UNDER THE TITLE "MEASURING UNIVERSITY PERFORMANCE" |

Within the framework of the implementation of activities of Tempus project JEP 41078-2006, the representatives of the University of Bihać, Asija Cucak and Enes Dedić, participated in the seminar "Measuring University Performance - Understanding and Using Key Performance Indicators", held in Sarajevo, ACESS Center on January 19 and 20, 2010 and organized by WUS Austria - Sarajevo Office
It was intended for representatives of all public universities and their students, and seminars aim was to support universities in the development of modern strategy and linking strategy with results of previous self-evaluation. The intention was to present some European experience of key quality indicators. The seminar was organized on the model of plenary sessions; a speaker was Ronan O Dubhghaill from University College Cork in Ireland. Besides Dr. Ronan O Dubhghailla, attendees were addressed by the Director of the Agency for the development of higher education and quality assurance of B&H, Prof. Nihad Fejzić and Vice Rectors of the University of Zenica and Mostar. The seminar was attended by representatives of all eight public universities in B&H. The seminar presented the experience of the University of Cork (Ireland) in monitoring the implementation of key development indicators and monitoring implementation of the development strategy of universities. the actual data and practice that is successful and functional, and does not require too much investment was presented. In addition to this Prof. Nihad Fejzić presented the work of the Agency's activities in the direction of the upcoming accreditation process that will be conducted by this Agency. Vice-Rectors from Zenica and Mostar transferred their own experiences of external evaluation process conducted by the EUA at these universities last year. |
