On June 11, 2009, acting Rector, Prof. Mujo Demirovic, opened in the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Bihac the Panel discussion, entitled "Actual moment of B&H". The guest lecturer was the academician, Prof. Muhamed Filipovic.
The attendees were the members of academic community who attentively followed this interesting and inspiring presentation about the current state of B&H, attitude of great powers towards our country and the position of our University in the context of the place and role of state institutions of higher education in B&H.

He emphasized that the position of B&H depends primarily on the attitude of Bosniaks towards the arrangement of the state and that our position has to be maximally active at all levels of decision-making. For this reason we must force integrative processes our current political leaders are responsible for.
Big forces led by the United States are responsible for the current situation in the world, so with us. Retrograding forces must be defeated and permanently uploaded into a museum of antiquities wherever they occur, exist and whatever their goal is. All this must work without a policy of double standard.
The central position of state higher education institutions, in his opinion, is not questionable but grading of private universities for the quality of services provided has to be undertaken.
University of Bihac must experience, in the spirit of current regulations, its transformation, not be a passive object, but an active subject of events and institution that takes a leading role in positive processes in USC.
