 On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, the 3rd special meeting of the Interim Steering board of the University of Bihać was not held due to the lack of quorum.
The President, chief physician dr. Suad Gačo designating the fact that a two-month mandate of this Interim Steering board expired, thanked all the present members on past work and wished all the future members of this Board success in their future work.

 On January 12, 2010 under the chairmanship of the President, Prof. Refik Šahinović, the 3rd special session of the Senate of the University of Bihać was held and in their substantial discussions the current situation at the University of Bihać was being reflected on.
On that occasion, a unanimously adopted conclusion was made regarding the rejection of decisions, conclusions made by the Ministry of Education and the Government of USC, because of discrepancies with the Law on Higher Education and Framework Law on Higher Education in B&H and authorization of the Government of USC.
At the same time, that authority continues to further work in accordance with the existing Law on Higher Education and notary treated Statute of the University of Bihać.

Promotion of the 8th generation graduates at the Faculty of Law |

 On January 1st, 2010The Law Faculty of the University of Bihac, held the ceremony for the promotion of the 8th generation of graduates. On this occasion in full amphitheater acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, dr. Nevzet Veladžić and acting Rector of the University of Bihać, dr. Mujo Demirovic addressed the audience. Among many guests, there were deans of the University, acting Vice-rector for research and international cooperation, dr. Ekrem Pehlić and President of the Senate of the University of Bihać, dr. Refik Šahinović. After congratulation speech for the graduates, acting Dean emphasized the importance of the current moment for all of them offering them the possibility of "permanent attachment to the Faculty of Law, whose diploma is recognized in Europe". |

 Senate of the University of Bihać, under the chairmanship of prof. dr. Refik Šahinović, held its third regular session on January 7th, 2010. A comprehensive agenda was discussed during this session.
On this occasion, consent to granting of academic staff from the Faculty of Economics and College of Nursing Studies were given.
Memorandum from the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture of the USC ref: 10-05-106-2/2010 of 05/01/2010 was discussed and an adequate response was sent back. |

On October 27, 2010, the Steering Committee of the University of Bihać at 11:00 held its regular meeting at which the following decisions were adopted:
1.Decision on the appointment of a vice-rector. 2. Decision on the adoption of the Statute of the University of Bihać, pursuant to Article 47 of the Law of the University of Bihać as a basic general act for the University of Bihać.
We use this opportunity to thank the assembly delegates for adopting the Law on Higher Education of USC and the Law of the University of Bihać, which were the basis for the adoption of the Statute of the University of Bihać, which is a fundamental and universal document in the process of integration of the University of Bihać. |
