On February 17, 2011, the meeting was held in the premises of USC Government where thePrime Minister, Dr.Hamdija Lipovača, with his aides, Minister of Education Dario Jurić, andpresident of the Commission for Education andYouth was held. The meeting was attended byrepresentatives of the University of Bihać, Rector, Prof. Refik Šahinović, Dr.Ekrem Pehlić, Vice-rector, Dr. Nevzet Veladžić, assistant professor, Prof. Muharem Štulanović. Beside the mentioned attendees, the meeting was attended by mufti of Bihać, Hasan ef. Makić and by Mr.Albin Muslić, the Mayor of Bihać.                                                                                         

Rector of the University of Bihać, Prof. RefikŠahinović received in a working visit the Senior Vice-rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations of the University of Pecs, Hungary, Prof. Laszlo I. Komlosi. During this visit, cooperation between these two universities and visit of the management of the University of Bihać to the University of Pecs on 17-20th March, 2011 was discussed in order to discuss the concrete details of further cooperation.                                                                 

On February 28, 2011, in the Campus of the University of Bihać, a ceremony on the occasion of relocation of the Faculty of Pedagogy to new premises in Grmeč was organized.                                                                                                

TEMPUS project "EU Standards for Accreditation ofAcademic Programs at the B&H Universities' workshop was held in Mostar, which was attended by Prof.RefikŠahinović, Prof. Nijaz Skener, Dr.Nevzet Veladžić,assistant professor and Enes Dedić, Coordinator for Quality Assurance.
