 On October 16, 2009, Professor Mujo Demirovic, acting Rector of the University of Bihac, welcomed the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Selmo Cikotic and Prime Minister of USC, Šemsudin Dedic.
On that occasion they discussed a permanent solution of one of the key problems of the University of Bihac - space.

 On August 25th, 2009 Senada Kurtanovic, M.S. made a brilliant defense of PhD thesis entitled: "Changes in accounting policies and their impact on the consolidated financial statements", before the Commission composed of: Prof. Mirko Andric, President, Prof. Mehmed Jahic, mentor and Prof. Jusuf Kumalic, a member, acquired the title of doctor of economic sciences. |

 During 16 – 17 June, 2009, the delegation of the Institute of Geography, University of Pécs, Hungary visited the University of Bihac with the aim of consolidating scientific and research links for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples. As a result of the visit, the Report on the meeting between the Institute of Geography, University of Pécs, Hungary and the University of Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina was published. |
