On Wednesday, 12 December 2012, the Rector of the University of Bihać, professor Refik Šahinović, and Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, professor Fadil Islamović, attended the ceremony of 10 anniversary of Bosnia and Herzegovina´s membership in the Council of Europe. The event took place in Sarajevo, and included the seminar on “Challenges and reformations in education of B&H”.                                                                                        

The Rector of the University of Bihać, professor Refik Šahinović, Ph.D., attended a conference “Condition, Challenges and Perspectives of Science in B&H”, which took place on 7 Dec 2012 in Sarajevo. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of B&H.                                                                                                    

The Rector of the University of Bihać, professor Refik Šahinović, Ph.D. and Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, professor Fadil Islamović, Ph. D. paid a visit to the University of Mostar. The visit was organized due to the 35th anniversary of the University.                                                                                        

The University of Bihać and Environmental Fund of FB&H have signed a contract on grants for the project of “Reconstruction of the existing wastewater treatment system at the teaching center Grmeč”. The contract was signed on Wednesday, 12 Dec 2012, in Zenica by the vice-rector for research work and international relations of the University of Bihać, Ekrem Pehlić, Ph.D.
