At the 45th USC Assembly session, held on January 20, 2010, the delegates discussed, among other things, the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law of the University of Bihać.
After the discussions conducted, they delayed its adoption until the above-mentioned Law does not comply with the Law on Higher Education.
Government of USC is in charge to implement this task in the future. This act gives an additional impulse to the institutions of the University for their rapid extension.

On January 18, 2010 Reis-ul-ulema Dr.Mustafa ef.Cerić, received acting Rector of the University of Bihać, Prof. Mujo Demirović in the premises of Islamic Community in B&H.
Expressing satisfaction with the invitation, Prof. Mujo Demirović informed his host about the current situation at the University of Bihać in the light of the fact that the Islamic Faculty of Education is an organizational unit of this higher education institution.
Sharing satisfaction with the academic community and students for registration of the integrated University, acting Rector expressed respect for the active and qualitative engagement of the Islamic Faculty of Education and its founder - Assembly of the Islamic Community in B&H within the University in Bihać to which they gave a special meaning.

On January 15, 2010, Student Union of the University of Bihać in an appropriate way marked the anniversary of commissioning of the Student Multimedia Center. On this occasion the president of this institution, Muhamed Abdić, reminding those present of the importance of the Center, expressed his gratitude to all those, especially to the acting Rector of the University of Bihać, Prof. Mujo Demirović, for helping to restore the functions of the Center in full capacity. Merit recognition in this regard are given in addition to acting Rector, Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs in the Council of Ministers of B&H, Senad Šepic, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Cariša Bešić and Mayor of Bihać, mr. Hamdija Lipovača.

Due to the forthcoming visit of representatives of the University of Bihać to the University of Pecs (Hungary), planned for the end of January and the beginning of February, a meeting was held today in the Rector’s Office.
Prof. Dr. Mujo Demirović, acting Rector, received Prof. Dr. Laslo Komlosi from the University of Pecs and during a long and cordial conversation informed the guest with the aim of the upcoming visit.
It was agreed that discussion of the academic communities would be held through these two universities with an emphasis on cooperation between the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Biotechnical Sciences and Islamic Pedagogical Faculty and similar institutions.
Expansion of cooperation would be related to other members of the two universities, and in relation to cooperation between Baranya county and Una-Sana Canton, as well as between  Pécs and Bihać.
